Internet.
- The Library provides classes on how to use the Internet. The monthly
sessions are free.

recommended sites. This guide is the home page for computers in the Library.
- Internet access in the Children’s room is filtered. A special
home page with recommended sites for children has been prepared by
Library staff.
- Minors can use the unfiltered Internet stations in the Adult, YA and Lobby
areas. Parents can request that their child be denied use of these stations
or all Library Internet stations.
- The Library recommends several on-line
resources for parents.
- Patrons must register to use the Internet. No anonymous use is allowed.
- The Library Board has adopted an Acceptable Use Policy which states (in
part): "Users will not send, receive or display text or graphics which
may reasonably be construed as obscene." The complete AUP
is posted near each public computer and on the Library's website.
- Any crime or illegal activity witnessed by library staff or patrons will
be reported to the police.
