Join us outside for a book discussion in the McMillan Library Garden on Tuesday July 6th @ 11am. We will be discussing The Library Book by Susan Orlean.
The Library Book is Susan Orlean’s thrilling journey through the stacks that reveals how these beloved institutions provide much more than just books—and why they remain an essential part of the heart, mind, and soul of our country. It is also a master journalist’s reminder that, perhaps especially in the digital era, they are more necessary than ever.
Please dress accordingly and feel free to BYO lawn chair and beverage.
The rain date will be via Zoom chatroom on Tuesday, July 6th @ 7pm. This will require the installation of the Zoom client on your computer (microphone and speakers required for audio, camera for video) or the Zoom app on your mobile device.
Books and audiobooks are available at the Service desk starting on Tuesday, June 1st.
Not the book for you? We'd still love to see you! You may still join the in person group or the zoom discussion to chat about your current reads or suggestions for upcoming reads!
