WISCONSIN REMEMBERS: A FACE FOR EVERY NAME–TRAVELING EXHIBIT

McMillan, Wisconsin Public Radio, Wisconsin Public Television, and the Wisconsin Veterans Museum are proud to introduce Wisconsin Remembers: A Face for Every Name as part of the Wisconsin Veterans Museum’s Traveling Exhibit Program.  The traveling exhibit features a photo for each of the 1,161 Wisconsinites officially listed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. The exhibit also includes additional photos for names that are listed on The Highground Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Neillsville, WI.  Wisconsin Remembers is a tribute to lost life and lost potential.

There will also be a display of memoribilia by the local chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America.

South Wood County faces include Gary L. Folz (Assumption Class of 1967), Phillip H. Clark (Wisconsin Rapids), John A. Luke (Wisconsin Rapids), Jerry A Ashburn (Port Edwards Class of 1965), Larry E. Thomas (Pittsville, Class of 1966), Kenneth G. Goodness (Nekoosa Class of 1968) and Ronald J. Hagen (Nekoosa). There are nine faces from the Marshfield area. 

There will be an opening night reception on September 18. The display is at McMillan from September 16 through November 14. 

On Monday, November 11, McMillan will commemorate Veterans Day with a two part program. At 1:30, we will show the first two episodes of  Wisconsin Vietnam War Stories. At 7:00 pm, will show the final episode and host an panel from the the local chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America
