We've extended our deadline for entries unti June 1 at 5pm so there is still time to send in an entry!
To celebrate all the places that we can't visit right now, McMillan Library’s spring ‘20 contest/exhibit will be a show of travel photography. These photos can be from any location and don’t need to be of vacations this year but must be by a local photographer (see definition below). While we are hoping that we will be open to display the selected photos in our gallery space, if we can’t be open then we will have an online gallery. The photographs can be edited however the photographer chooses but the final result should look good at an image size of 13x19 inches. Photographers are free to use any device that they like to take the pictures but entries must be submitted electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm on June 1 (extended deadline!). When we are open again, we will have Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe products available for use in our Makerspace for anyone who would like to edit their photos. Each photographer may submit one photo. As with all of our contests, the selections will be displayed in our gallery space and then become part of our permanent circulating collection. This exhibit will be displayed in June.
