More juggling fun! Join in the zaniness of Dan Kirk's juggling show. There is no mistaking "The Juggler with the Yellow Shoes". Dan is a true professional who will entertain all ages with his unique juggling feats.
Truly Remarkable Loon (that is his real name) is coming back to McMillan Library for a last show before he hangs up the juggling clubs for a well-earned retirement. Loon has been a staple of our family nights at McMillan for a very long time. His shows are full of fast paced hilarity from beginning to end. Not a show to be missed!
Bring the family to design and paint a ceramic tile to take home with you. Materials will be provided. Space and materials are limited.
This is a series of three programs for kids age 9-11 (accompanied by an adult) to learn basic kitchen skills. We will be covering how to read a recipe, measuring, food and kitchen safety, and knife skills. Because of the nature of the programs each building on the previous one, it is expected that you will make every effort to attend all three programs. Class size is limited. Registration is required. An adult may accompany up to two children who are in the age range.
Our next Story Time session will be taking place on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 starting on September 14 and ending on November 9.
Noelle from Zoozort will be bringing in some of her rescued animal friends for a fun and educational experience.
Work together in teams (family/friends/new friends) to build a contraption which will save an egg from cracking up when dropped from the Library's balcony. Each team will be given the same materials and amount of time to come up with their unique design.
Miller and Mike are bringing their unique comedy variety show back to McMillan Library this summer. If you want some good laughs and family friendly entertainment, come to see Miller and Mike live on the McMillan Library theater stage! This show is free. No tickets are required. Seating is limited.
We may not have an ocean nearby but we do have beautiful rivers and lakes. Let's celebrate these wonderful bodies of water right in our backyard. This is a drop-in program.
