Event Type

The Central Wisconsin Book Festival welcomes author Beth Amos to the McMillan Memorial Library in Wisconsin Rapids to discuss her 30-year writing career!

Amos, currently writing as Annelise Ryan, is the USA Today bestselling author of more than 25 novels. Her newest project is the Monster Hunter Mysteries, featuring a Door County bookstore owner and cryptozoologist, Morgan Carter. The first in the series, A Death in Door County, will be published in September.

Her previous work includes the Mattie Winston Mystery series and its spinoff, the Helping Hands Mysteries. She also wrote the Mack's Bar Mystery series as Allyson K. Abbott.

Beth is a recently retired ER nurse who created pseudonyms, in part, so her patients wouldn't know she spent her spare time thinking up clever ways to kill people. She'll share a bit from her new book and talk about a life of writing that now spans 30 years!

Free and open to the public, no registration required.
